A true archival find from Celine's Macadam era. This structured top-handle bag pairs the house's signature Macadam canvas, printed with the Blason emblem, with rich cognac leather trim, contrast topstitching, and a rolled leather handle. The front flap closes with a gold-tone turn-lock framed in stitched leather, finished with a leather toggle embossed CELINE. Hanging from the handle on a chain is the original circular charm, a cognac leather ring embossed CELINE PARIS set in metal. Four gold-tone feet protect the leather base. Inside, full cognac leather lining with a zippered center compartment dividing the bag into two open sections. Ladylike with a little equestrian edge, it's just as right with denim and a white tee as with a slip dress. Heat stamp reads CELINE PARIS MADE IN ITALY.

Condition
Good vintage condition with visible wear consistent with age. Both handle ends show fraying and separation of the leather where they meet the hardware; the handle remains attached and usable. The side gussets show light scratches and scuffing, and the leather base is darkened at the corners with minor surface scratches. The turn-lock plate has scratches and a few dark tarnish spots, and the hardware overall shows patina.   The coated canvas remains in strong shape with a clear print and no cracking observed, and the bag holds its structure well. Zipper is fully functional.
